ALI Inspection - August 2006

As an approved training provider, LAGAT training provision is subject to stringent inspection and monitoring.  Up until March 2007, inspections were carried out by the Adult Learning Inspectorate, also known as ALI.

In April 2007, ALI was incorporated along with three other former inspectorates into Ofsted - the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills.

All providers are inspected on a three year cycle where proivision is deemed satisfactory.  Grades are awarded based on a 4 point system:  Ranging from 1 - Outstanding;  2 - Good;  3 - Satisfactory; 4 - Inadequate.

LAGAT's latest inspection took place in August 2006, resulting in an overall Grade 2 provision - 'Good'.
